How to add a button to the blog sidebar on Blogger?

1. Go to Layout
2. On the sidebar click "Add a Gadget"
3. Choose a HTML/JavaScript gadget from the list
4. Paste the button code in the content area of the gadget.
5. Save and you are ready!

How to add a button to the blog sidebar on TypePad?

1. Go to Typepad, login, then from the Dashboard, click on Design
2. Click on Content
3. At the top, there are three sections (see snapshot below), go to the middle box (Categories) and scroll to find "Embed your own HTML"
4. Then on the right, click Add This Module.
5. In the window that pops-up, paste in the button code you find here.
6. Save

How to add a button to the blog sidebar on Wordpress?

1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance >Widgets
2. Drag the Text widget to the sidebar area
3. Inside the text area of the widget paste the code of the button
4. Save!
